I can thank my mom for getting me into photography back when I was 13 in middle school in the small West Texas town of Snyder, Texas. I took an intro to black and white photography with darkroom work, and I was immediately hooked. I love the process of taking pictures, and love(d) the technical aspects of darkroom film development and enlargements. I had my own darkroom through high school, was on the yearbook staff, was Chief Photographer during my senior year. I took as many pictures as I could and had a photography business going. But then my senior year I discovered computers and went to Texas Tech and earned a Computer Science degree.
