This herd of buffalo is grazing just east of Cimarron, New Mexico. A summer thunderstorm is building along the Sangre de Cristo mountain range to the west toward Eagle Nest, New Mexico. This photo is looking northward.

I can thank my mom for getting me into photography back when I was 13 in middle school in the small West Texas town of Snyder, Texas. I took an intro to black and white photography with darkroom work, and I was immediately hooked. I love the process of taking pictures, and love(d) the technical aspects of darkroom film development and enlargements.
